ALBAWABA – World’s largest collector car auction house, RM Sotheby’s, is gearing up for its first Dubai auction as part of its previously announced plans to expand into the European, Middle Eastern, and African region, which is expected to kick-off on March 9 at Concrete in Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz, with 12 super cars up for grabs, a day after a special preview planned.
Vice President of RM Sotheby’s Middle East and Africa, Ghita Mejdi has commented on the upcoming auction saying “Dubai has created a truly unique blueprint for fostering strategic partnerships, and we are incredibly proud to introduce our first live auction in Dubai”, adding how this step came "after carefully listening to the pulse of the city and what it wants to see,” as reported by National News.
2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie Coupé
Topping the lots list, the 2023 Aston Martin Valkyrie Coupé is bidding with an estimated price of $2.9 million to $3.3 million in its first offering in Dubai. Hardly driven and owned once only, described by Aston Martin as being “as close as possible to being a Formula One car without being restricted to the track,” the V12 powered car is offered in the premium Scintilla Silver color.

2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 Coupé
A one of only 20, a 2017 Lamborghini Centenario LP770-4 Coupé is designed to honor the 100th birthday of the company's founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, boosting a 6.5-litre V-12 engine, combined with an even-speed automated manual gearbox, will be selling in the auction with an estimated price of $2 million to $2.5 million.

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupé by RWB
Dubbed “Hideyoshi,” after the 16th Century Japanese Samurai, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, this 911 powered by a 3.6-litre six-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual gearbox shows style with custom paintwork by Japanese street artist RoamCouch. According to Sotheby’s, the car went through a complete aesthetic upgrade by Akira Nakai of RAUH-Welt BEGRIFF (RWB) upon reaching Dubai, estimated price is between $150 thousand and $250 thousand.
