The Dubai-based Swift Group will be hosting its 2002 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Nairobi this year, scheduled July 26-28. Over 50 executives from 17 countries will attend the AGM, which will be hosted by Swift Freight International (Kenya) Ltd. The AGM will be followed by intensive HR and finance workshops, extending it to a five-day event.
The meeting, an annual event, offers an opportunity for the Swift Group management from 32 Swift offices to meet and discuss current issues and future strategies. Swift Group senior management met in Nairobi on June 25, to finalize details for the AGM and announced that the event will be conducted under the theme ‘Ethics & Leadership in Swift'.
This year's AGM host office—Swift Freight International Kenya Ltd.—was established in 1996 and is one of 19 Swift offices in Africa. Headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Swift Group possesses a network of 31 offices in the Middle East, Africa and the Far East.
