Al-Sayegh Brothers Trading, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) distributor for LG Electronics, opened a 1,700 square feet service center in Dubai dedicated to the digital manufacturers’ product line. With a total investment 1.5 million Emirati dirhams ($408,000), the new center was built close to Al-Sayegh’s showroom in Deira and will be manned by a team of eight technicians.
Korean manufacturer LG reported 2001 sales of $949 million in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region and aims to break through the one billion dollar mark in 2002. — (menareport.com)
