The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) recently hosted seven tour operators from the Czech Republic to familiarize them on Dubai's attractions and facilities, enabling them market the emirate through their packages.

"The Czech Republic is an important market for Dubai," said DTCM Missions Manager, Hamad bin Mejren. "The number of hotel guests from the Czech Republic has been registering year-on-year increase and recorded more than 45 percent increase in 2002 compared with the previous year."

DTCM organized a program for the tour operators which included a visit to popular tourist sites as well as the new landmarks in Dubai, including the Burj Al-Arab and the Emirates Golf Club. — (menareport.com)
