A tow-day conference on enriching the economics of the Middle East region ended up in Doha earlier this week with a call for the creation of a regional central bank.
Co-held by the Qatar's ministry of foreign affairs and the UCLA's Burkle Centre for International Relations, the conference offered a set of recommendations to promote economic and social development in the Middle East region, and boost sustainable cooperation between Mideast states, Asia, Europe, and the USA.
According to Kuna, the conference addressed improving the business environment, creating societies conducive to development, and the efficiency and productivity in the region.
