One month after the global launch of their new suite of Time and Day Definite products in Bahrain, DHL has proceeded to the first business review of the new services with outstanding results.
“The launch has been an absolute success”, said Mr. Nour Suliman, DHL Bahrain Country Manager, “and the feedback from our clients and partners could not be more encouraging. The fact is that now they can finally make the most convenient choice of service according to their specific needs. Furthermore, as the premium system has disappeared and the prices are clearly structured, managing their own costs has become much easier.”
“We have more than doubled –almost tripled- our expectations regarding established clients using the new products. We are very satisfied with the results so far.”
Mr. Phil Couchman, DHL Middle East Regional Director, complimented the team at DHL Bahrain and showed his satisfaction after the review: “ It certainly was the right decision to take. DHL launched their new express services, a full suite of time and definite products after realizing that customers were demanding more choice of transit times; from a pre 9AM or pre noon delivery service and next day express, to second day delivery and express freight for heavyweight shipments. The new family of products, available to all DHL clients in Bahrain from February 1st, sets focus on time as a defining element with the clear aim of serving better the customer’s needs, allowing clients to better manage their own resources.
The results of a recent study carried out by a prestigious international company show that, with over 60% market share in the country, DHL is the undisputed express and logistics leader in the Kingdom.
