Dh106m in land transactions in Dubai

Overall land transactions in Dubai on Tuesday reportedly reached Dh106.13 million ($28.9 million). Of this amount, sales accounted for more than Dh30 million ($8.17 million), according to data from Dubai's Land Department.

 

The Dh30 million reported for sales transactions was a result of six sale transactions egistered with the department during the day, according to Gulf News.

 

The most valuable transaction was the sale of a plot of land in the Al Karama area,that was sold for Dh19.8 million ($5.39 million).

 

Following the Al Karama sale, in terms of overall value, was the sale of a second plot of land in Emirates Hills-1, which was acquired for the sum of Dh2.4 million ($650,000). A second plot of land for the same amount was also sold in the Emirates Hills-1 area.

 

These transactions, in addition to two others in Emirate Hills, make the area the most active in terms of the day's sales.  The Al Karama area followed with one sale.

 

Also over the course of the day, the Al Karama area reported the highest turnover by value, at Dh19.8 million ($5.4 million). Following Al Karama in terms of turnover value was the Emirates Hills-1 area, which reported Dh8.85 million ($2.4 million).

 

The area with the third highest turnover value for the day was in the Al Satwa area, which reported Dh1.4 million ($380,000) in turnover.

 

The Department also revealed that the total value of mortgages during the day was reached Dh76.08 million ($20.71 million).
