Egyptian Minister of Foreign Commerce Yousef Botrous Ghali met with representatives from various ministries in order to discuss how to expand the country’s exporting potential. Ghali also met with the Minister of Transportation Ibrahim Al-Demeiry to discuss the movement of cargo and developing refrigeration complexes at Egyptian airports.
The Egyptian government is exploring ways of increasing its exports, in an effort to shrink thr country’s growing trade deficit. Egypt imports amount to $16 billion annually, while exports equal only four billion dollars a year, reported Al-Hayat . — (menareport.com)
