Deira City Center reported an increase of traffic by 15-20 percent as compared to Dubai Shopping Festival 2002. “We achieved a traffic of 210,000 people during the weekend, a record figure. This year, the coupon redemption as compared to last year is up by five percent which is a direct reflector on the sales achieved in the corresponding periods,” says Mall Manager, Sandy Mercer.
DSF is held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from January 15 to February 15, 2003. The 32-day long festivities offer tax-free shopping and low import duties. — (menareport.com)
