Israel’s Defense Industries International, a manufacturer of personal military and civilian protective equipment, announced today it will report results for the fourth quarter and year-ended December 31, 2002 and file its annual report on form 10-KSB no later than April 30, 2003.

The company stated that the reporting of its year-end results and the filing of its annual report on form 10K was delayed due to certain management changes occurring during the fourth quarter of 2002. Joseph Fostbinder, president of Defense Industries International said, "Due to our recent management changes, we unfortunately needed to delay the completion of our year-end results and public filing. We are, however, pleased that as anticipated we were profitable for the year 2002."

Fostbinder added, "As we previously announced, the company produced orders totaling $700,000 for our custom-designed bullet-resistant vests during the first quarter of 2003. We anticipate an additional two million dollars in follow on orders for this product to be delivered during the second quarter of 2003."

Defense Industries' main products include body armor, bomb disposal suits and bullet-resistant vests and jackets; ballistic wall covers, helmets, plates and one-way protective windows; personal military equipment, battle pouch units and combat harness units; dry storage units, liquid logistics, tents and vehicle covers; and winter suits, sleeping bags and backpacks.
