Director General of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Abdul Rahman Ghanim Al-Mutaiwee has invited Ghana to set up a Trade Center in Dubai, in order to achieve its goal of consolidating its economic relations with the Gulf region.
The Director general of the Dubai Chamber, met with the Deputy Head of Ghana Mission in Riyadh, Saame Gogu. During this meeting, Al-Mutaiwee mentioned that there are 56 trade centers and official commercial offices in Dubai, promoting their countries’ economic interests in the region. He also called on Ghana to participate in the international exhibitions, which take place in Dubai every year in order to introduce its potentials and consolidate its relations with the region.
Ghana’s representative referred to his country’s strategic location in West Africa, and added that it is possible for the businessmen from the Gulf to enhance their commercial and economic relations with the Western African States through Ghana, and that unlike what is said about the other African states, Ghana enjoys political and economic stability, and welcomes investment from the Gulf region. — (menareport.com)
