Bahrain Investment Wharf (BIW) recently signed a dredging and land reclamation works contract with the international consultant, Dar Al Handasah Consultants - Shair and Partners.
The deal, signed between Laith Al Memar, the Vice-Chairman and Managing Director of BIW, and Bassam Shakhshir, the Director of Operations of Dar Al-Handasah Consultants, assigns the supervision for the dredging and land reclamation works at the project, according to Khaleej Times.
Dar Al Handasah Consultants will supervise the dredging, land reclamation and revetment works for the Bahrain Investment Wharf Project, and BIW has put its trust in their efforts and expertise to deliver as per the state of the art requirements.
“For the rapid development of this project, we are keen on assigning highly professional organizations that can meet the quality standards that we maintain,” said Al Memar, who added that BIW has begun to receive applications for land reservations from various industries, factories and commercial properties assuring the good progress of the project.
