A recently issued study by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry shows that the contribution of the industrial sector to the UAE's GDP jumped to Dh 56 billion in 2005, which is equivalent to 11.4% of all other sectors' contribution, up from Dh 50 billion in 2004, which is equivalent to 13% of all other sectors' contribution.
Meanwhile, the fixed capitalization of the industrial sector in the UAE's jumped to Dh 15.7 billion in 2005, up from Dh 14.3 billion in 2004, an increase of 17.6%.
