Construction works on a $1 billion new downtown area for Amman should start early 2006, a senior executive of Jordan’s largest property investment firm, state-owned Mawared, has said, according to Reuters.
A total of 23 investors were slated to begin work on almost half the 1 million square meter space directed for the project.
