Dubai's 'Burj Dubai' tower, developed by real estate giant Emaar Properties, has reached 80 levels yesterday with a height of 277 meters.
When completed in 2008, the monumental tower will be the world's tallest tower, according to Gulf News, taller than the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco (266 meters) and the Commerzbank Tower in Frankfurt, Europe's tallest building (259 meters).
Though there are rumors as to the tower's expected height upon completion, the exact number of floors it will house has officially been kept secret thus far.
