The BD5.7 million monument and cultural centre being built in Sakhir is more than halfway finished, it was reported Tuesday by The GDN. The Bahrain Monument, which will include a lecture hall, library and museum, is now 55 per cent completed.
The two-storey building is being built on an 8.45-hectare site and is expected to be ready by June of next year.
