Comtrust, the e-solutions business unit of the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation (Etisalat) presented to the United Arab Emirates (UAE)'s information technology (IT) and e-commerce students this week.
High ranking officials from the company participated in panel discussions and seminar programs at recent HCT e-commerce events. Attendees at the events included representatives from the local government, the e-commerce industry and other HCT institutions.
In a bid to promote the role of e-commerce among the next generation of IT professionals, Comtrust highlighted the current state of the regional market and the future issues facing the digital economy. As part of Comtrust's extensive educational program, spokespeople from the business unit participated in the E-ducation Day at the HCT Women's Colleges in Abu Dhabi, where they presented to 150 students and at the Emerging E-Security Solutions in Al-Ain where over 250 attendees were present.
Comtrust, was launched in 2000 to bridge the gap in the market for a secure e-business solutions provider. Comtrust offers e-business solutions in the areas of business-to-business, business-to-consumer and e-Government services.
