Computer Associates Middle East (CA-ME) has signed an IT infrastructure management agreement with the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Health. Under the terms of the agreement, CA-ME will provide the Ministry with a host of IT infrastructure management software tools from CA's product portfolio.
The ministry will use CA's flagship Unicenter product for its network systems management, BrightStor for storage management, backup and recovery and eTrust Antivirus for enhanced security.
The Ministry of Health provides free healthcare to all Saudi Arabian citizens as well as over two million pilgrims who visit the Kingdom each year. It is responsible for over 320 hospitals, with over 32,000 doctors and 67,000 nurses.
CA delivers software and services that enable organizations to manage their IT environments. Focus areas include network and systems management, storage and security management, portal and business intelligence, and application life cycle management.
