Computer Associates International (CA) announced that eTrust Antivirus has become the first antivirus software solution to achieve certification for Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server. eTrust Antivirus has also been certified on Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server - making it the first antivirus solution to be certified across two versions of Microsoft’s flagship operating system platform.
To achieve this certification, eTrust Antivirus met the requirements of Microsoft’s Certified for Windows program through VeriTest, the testing division of Lionbridge Technologies. This certification program includes standards for secure, manageable, and reliable solution operation on Windows 2000 Server products.
