Cisco Systems, a pioneer and global leader in the field of IP telephony, marks its inaugural role as theme sponsor of the Middle East Call Centre (MECC) conference and exhibition with a dazzling array of demonstrations that show the power of IP Contact Centres to deliver business benefits and superior customer service.

During the two-day conference, Cisco will demonstrate its latest IP telephony Call Centre solutions, including its IP telephony Contact Centre (IPCC), Video Calling using Cisco VTA (video terminal adapter) and Video Calling to a Call Centre agent. Cisco’s partner, Infoline Oman, also will share with MECC delegates a case study on Gulf Air’s deployment of the latest IPCC solutions.

“These demonstrations will show not only IP telephony as the natural platform for value-added contact centres but also how these IP-based solutions have already been implemented on the ground here in the region as well as globally,” said Ghazi Atallah, General Manager Middle East, Cisco Systems. “As customer service agent resources become more and more decentralized and contact channels continue to multiply, Cisco has developed the concept of the ‘Customer Interaction Network’ as more appropriate than the older ‘contact centre’ concept,” he added.

The Customer Interaction Network is about new ways to manage customers, customer information and customer service resources to deliver greater productivity and efficiency, improved customer interactions, greater customer satisfaction, reduced costs and impressive returns on investment.
