Cisco Middle East Appoints Andrew Elder As New Gulf Regional Manager

Cisco Systems recently announced the appointment of Andrew Elder as Regional Manager for the Gulf and Pakistan. His responsibilities will be to continue growing the enterprise and telecommunications sector business in the Gulf (UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Yemen) and Pakistan, and develop the emerging small and medium business markets. 

 

"Cisco has been grown remarkably fast in the Gulf. We have consistently 

maintained near 100 percent year-on-year growth for the past six years," commented 

Elder. "My challenge is to maximize the potential for further growth, whilst 

ensuring that service and support levels are maintained or even improved." 

 

Andrew joined Cisco in 1997, looking after financial services sector 

accounts in London. He then moved to managing telecommunications key 

accounts, before taking up the new challenge in the Middle East.
