EXi telecoms, an independent provider of telecom services to organizations worldwide, has signed an agreement to provide CIENA with first-line maintenance support to complement CIENA's EMEA support operations.
Under the terms of the contract, EXi telecoms will become CIENA's overlay support group, responsible for maintaining its networks and proactively responding to demand, as required.
The EXi Telecoms Group provides specialist telecoms services to major telecoms operators and equipment manufacturers world-wide. Its skills include implementation, network support, logistics and training, as well as a complete range of high level commissioning and test services for telecom and data networks. The company has managed large and complex outsourcings in Europe, US, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific.
