The first power station ever to be constructed in Africa by a Chinese company will be in Sudan, following the signing of a $140 million contract between Harbin Power Station Engineering Ltd and the Sudan State Power company.
The contract involves the building of a 100 km transmission line, a new transformer station, and the expansion of an old transformer station.
