ALBAWABA - One of China's biggest online marketplaces, Temu took America by storm after airing several ads in the NFL Super Bowl game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Fransisco 49ers.

By the time of writing this article, users took to social media platforms such as X (formerly known as Twitter) to voice their opinions on the matter with memes swarming making Temu the most trending topic in the country!

Temu is a Chinese online marketplace similar to Shein. It is known for offering a variety of things to its users including accessories, figurines, clothes, kitchen appliances, and many more for competitive and cheap prices.

Despite the platform's popularity worldwide for offering users cheap stuff, Temu doesn't have the best reputation in the US because its products are not the "best quality" and is known for having "unethical" business practices, according to Eightify.

According to USA Today, the app could potentially have "spyware" deeming it sketchy because Temu allegedly has ties with communist China, and by giving it information such as addresses, birthdays, credit card information, and more.

In addition, to the above, because Temu offers things at meager prices, this could also result in labor exploitation and "unethical" working conditions.

Users on America's side of X took to the platform and voiced their opinions on the several ads that aired for the platform in the Super Bowl:

“Sir a second Temu ad has aired.”

"HOW IS TEMU AFFORDING THIS MANY ADS."

"A FOURTH Temu ad just aired."

"I’VE SEEN THE TEMU COMMERCIAL LIKE 3 TIMES MAKE IT STOP."
