ALBAWABA - China has showcased its latest developed military technology and newly shaped weapons; however, what triggered most attention during the latest military parade was the robot wolf.

The military parade in China was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, next to Chinese President Xi Jinping, who marked the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

China's military parade was performed by tens of thousands of troops in addition to tanks and armoured vehicles. The show took place in Tiananmen Square in Beijing, China, on Sept. 3.

China's robot wolf:

China unveiled a good number of its unmanned weapon systems as a way to show how much the Asian country has developed since the end of the second World War.

Social media users and military experts said that the most interesting new unmanned weapon system that was showcased by China during the military parade was the 'robot wolf'.

The remote-controlled, four-legged, weaponised 'robot wolves' were spotted on the back of other moving vehicles. State broadcaster CCTV said the robot wolves are more advanced version of China's robotic dog.

Robot wolves and dogs are made to replace real soldiers in dangerous zones with the aim of reducing human casualties during conflicts or wars.

The robot wolf is built to move stealthily toward enemies, deliver accurate shots at targets, and operate effectively in hard terrain.
