China Southern Airlines recently announced that it has reinstated its service between China and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), after a four-month suspension following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, stated a company press release.
China Southern Airlines is the only airline in China to offer air service between Beijing and Sharjah. President of China Southern Airlines Wang Changshun said that service will be available immediately, operating three times a week with a Boeing 757 aircraft. The airline’s service to the Middle East departs from Beijing; stops in Urumqi and flies over Pakistan and Iran to the UAE.
