Yemen’s Land Reclamation Authority in the governorate of Hadhramout recently completed the necessary procedures for implementing the Central Irrigation Project in the region of Zamakh, reported SABA. The project, will supply water to citizens of neighboring regions.
Hadhramout is the Governorate with the largest territory in The Republic of Yemen, located in the southeast, bordered by Mahara and Shabwa. It extends northwards deep into the Empty Quarter with its southern coasts overlooking the Arabian Sea and is 777 kilometers away from Sana’a, accessible by a paved road via Marib and Attaq to Mukalla. —(menareport.com)
