Hong Kong based airline Cathay Pacific has added two new non-stop flights to its Middle East schedule linking Dubai to Hong Kong. The flights, launched in January bring the total number of passenger flights operated by Cathay Pacific out of Dubai International Airport to 11, confirmed a press release.

The twice-weekly return flights are operated using the Airbus 330-300 aircraft. Dubai International Airport has witnessed a 10 percent growth rate in passenger inflow in 2001, with 13.5 million travelers using the facility and expects 15 million passengers in 2002 and 30 million by 2010. Cathay Pacific recently commenced flights between Hong Kong and Riyadh and also offers a daily flight between Bahrain and Hong Kong. — (menareport.com)
