Everyone is eager to see what the Samsung S7 would look like, and now, we have a possible date for when it will hit the shelves.

The South Korean firm is expected to reveal the phone at the Mobile World Congress at the end of February this year.

According to a leak from popular leaker Evan Blass, the handsets might just be available for sale from Friday 11th March, or at least in the US.

As of now, it is just a tweet so don’t book the day off yet. If this is true, it would essentially put the S7 a whole month ahead of its predecessors, as the S6 handsets went on sale on 10 April last year.

It makes sense that Samsung would go ahead and release the handsets early, as it the company would want to make a head start over Apple and the 2016 phones, and it also fits well with the previous rumors of the S7 launch. Among those rumors, there are many hints of what to expect from the S7 as well, ranging from liquid cooling, microSD slots and an upgraded camera.

More news and details will be revealed from MWC at Barcelona.
