The CanoScan LiDE 20 is a 600x1200dpi model, suitable for entry-level users and first time buyers. The CanoScan LiDE 30 is a 1200x2400dpi resolution device, with all the features of the LiDE 20, plus an aluminium finish lid and twice the optical resolution, making it ideally suited to mainstream scanning requirements from corporate or the more demanding home user.
