The Montreal-based technology company Travelnet Technologies has been contracted to deploy its flagship product DataValet, a high-speed Internet service, at two Dubai properties— Le Meridien and Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort and Spa—totaling over 900 rooms.

TravelNet has also recently set up its Middle Eastern base in Dubai that allows TravelNet a centralized presence in local markets. In the UAE, Ebayanat Limited Company distributes the DataValet solution.

DataValet enables hotels to provide business travelers with the same services found in a typical corporate office: high-speed Internet connectivity, high-quality printing, fax, workgroup computing, and secure corporate network access. DataValet’s services include site surveys, installation of wired and wireless access and a technical support program.

Originally launched in 1998, the DataValet solution been marketed to the North American hotel market, and installed by hotels including Sheraton, Hilton, Meridien, Holiday Inn, Radisson and Best Western hotels, as well as property groups such as AFM Hospitality.

TravelNet Technologies creates Internet infrastructure solutions enabling on-demand distribution, monitoring and consolidation of applications and services within buildings—hotels, airports and multi-unit commercial/residential properties. — (menareport.com)
