A British manufacturer set to clinch a regional market breakthrough at the first Middle East Police and Law Enforcement Exhibition & Conference (MEPLEX) in Dubai expects it to lead to a multi-million dollar sales boost.
Tyron Automotive Group is poised to sign contracts worth $500,000 later this week to supply two Middle East police forces with Tyron safety bands, which help drivers keep control of vehicles after high-speed blowouts.
The MEPLEX exhibitor line up includes manufacturers of ballistics, body armour, communications and crowd control equipment, cyber crime preventive software, emergency response services, biometric identification systems, intelligence technology, specialized police transport vehicles, and prison services and equipment
MEPLEX is being held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, UAE Defense Minister and Head of Dubai Police.
