The Abu Dhabi Polymers Company (Borouge) has appointed a new sales agent in Iran. Teheran-based Delsagostar (DSGS) will help bring Borouge's bimodal Borstar products closer to Borouge's Iranian customers.

DSGS has extensive experience working within the Iranian polymer and chemical industry. The move will greatly enhance Borouge's service to its customers. DSGS will focus on selling Borouge’s products to the packaging and pipe industries, and also market specialty polypropylene grades from Borealis.

Established in 1998, Borouge is a joint venture between the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Europe’s polyolefins producer Borealis. Borouge specializes in the production, distribution and marketing of high performance polyolefin products. Its products are used in applications for plastic film and moulding packaging as well as industrial and domestic pipes in the Middle East and Asia Pacific. — (menareport.com)
