ALBAWABA – Visitors to the Philippines are enjoying their stay at the world’s largest hotel and building shaped like a chicken, according to the Guinness World Records.

The world’s largest hotel and building, named ‘Manok ni Cano’ or ‘Cano's Chicken,’ is almost 35 meters (over 114 feet) tall and 12 meters wide. The hotel has six floors and a total of 15 rooms, all featuring no windows but equipped with air conditioning to ensure ventilation.
It is worth noting that the famous hotel, located at Campuestohan Highland Resort on the island of Negros Occidental, was named as the world’s largest building in the shape of a chicken by the Guinness World Records in September 2024.
The owner of Manok ni Cano is Ricardo Cano Gwapo Tan, a Filipino politician, businessman and former sports administrator.

“And just ahead of the holiday season, the resort and its rooster-shaped hotel is fully booked with dozens of families staying over through the end of January 2025,” Tan said.
Visitors can enjoy a room that accommodates four people for approximately $80, while a room for seven or more people costs around $120.
Campuestohan Highland Resort, where the chicken hotel is located, features two massive pools, a restaurant, a cafe, and hundreds of dinosaurs and cartoon statues.
To reach the resort, visitors need to arrive in Manila City or Cebu Island and take a domestic flight to the Bacolod-Silay International Airport in Negros Occidental. From there, visitors must drive approximately 17 miles across farmland and uphill to reach Campuestohan Highland Resort.
