The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) said Monday, September 24, it had moved a meeting planned for November 12 from Saudi Arabia to Switzerland because of the uncertain global political situation.
The meeting will instead take place at BIS headquarters in Basel, a spokesman said. Once a year, the central bank governors meet away from the BIS headquarters in the northwestern Swiss city. ― (AFP, Zurich)
