Former US President Bill Clinton is to address the 2002 Jeddah Economic Forum, which will be held January 19-21, the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) announced. The forum, titled Managing in a Complex Global Environment, will examine issues raised for global businesses and their employees following the September 11 attacks on the US.

The 42nd president of the United States will head a forum of corporate and political leaders, that will address the challenges in cross cultural operations, conflict prevention, crisis communications and the need to develop greater levels of tolerance and understanding between people of different cultures and religions through diplomatic and commercial ties.

The 2002 Jeddah Economic Forum will be the largest to date, said Amr Dabbagh, chairman of the Jeddah Marketing Board (JMB), the event’s organizers. The forum’s speakers and participants include the Crown Prince of Bahrain Salman Bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Chairman and CEO of ChevronTexaco David O'Reilly, Chairman and CEO of Occidental Petroleum Ray Irani, Chairman and CEO of Hill & Knowlton Group Howard Paster and Chairman of the Carlyle Group David Rubenstein. — (menareport.com)
