Egyptian General Petroleum Corp. disclosed that bids for as many as 10 deepwater concessions offshore Egypt will be due June 28. The bid deadline previously was been in mid-November.
The blocks expected to be offered lie in water depths ranging from about 2,600 feet to 9,800 feet encompassing some 19,300 square miles in the Mediterranean Sea. Other specifics of the bid round should be disclosed soon.
