According to <i>Al-Mendhar</i> newspaper, in the framework of its efforts to diversify and to facilitate the supply of fuel to Iraqi residents, the Iraqi Ministry of Oil has recently opened two new sites to supply fuel gas to the private vehicles in Iraq. A senior ministry official said that the Al-Nahdha Garage and Al-Alawi Garage were permitted to supply fuel gas for the private passenger transit vehicles in Iraq.
The per liter cost of fuel gas was determined as ID 50. The official added that this step aims to enable adequate fuel supply for these vehicles, which serve the pubic, and for reasonable prices in order to prevent fuel price manipulation.
