Benq Middle East, a regional supplier of digital lifestyle devices, today announced its participation in the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Benq’s promotion focuses on the digital needs of Middle East families. Participating DSF resellers of Benq products include CompuMe, Plug-Ins and Quality Computers.
The Taiwanese-based firm has sold mini-DVD’s for family entertainment, multifunctional digital printers, CD-RW drives and digital cameras. The Benq products are divided into six primary business units: display (CRT and LCD monitors), digital display (projectors and plasma display), optical storage (CD- and DVD-ROM drives, as well as CD-RW), imaging (scanners, multifunctional peripherals, and digital cameras), wireless (mobile phones, wireless module, Bluetooth PCMCIA card), and broadband (wireless LAN, Ethernet switch, XDSL, broadband router).
Previously named Acer Communications and Multimedia, Benq supplies digital lifestyle devices in the display, storage, imaging, wireless and broadband areas. Benq Middle East’s headquarters is located in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Free Zone.
