Belgian biscuit producer Jules Destrooper is looking to launch in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain and hopes its regional exhibition debut will produce footholds into the three markets.

Jules Destrooper is a duty free biscuits brand. The company will attend the Middle East Exclusive Duty Free exhibition being held in Dubai in December. Jules Destrooper will present duty free lines, as well as retail, gift and service products for the Gulf domestic market at the exhibition.

“Though the brand is exported to 60 countries throughout Europe, North and Latin America, Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East is a bit of a blind spot for us at the moment but we are looking to change that,” said a company spokesman.

Middle East Exclusive has attracted exhibitors from Europe, the US, Far East, Indian Sub-continent, Russia, Scandinavia and the Middle East. The exhibitor line up includes some of the world's leading brand names, including Baume & Mercier, Mont Blanc and Alfred Dunhill, looking to extend their reach within Duty Frees such as Swiss Arabian Perfumes, Caviar Classic, Al-Fustaq, La Ronda Foods and Pashama. — (menareport.com)
