Audi Volkswagen Middle East has announced the appointment of Behbehani Motors Company as the sole Volkswagen brand distributor in Kuwait. The appointment, which came into effect on 1 November 2007, is in line with Volkswagen Group’s new strategic repositioning for the country.
The new distribution agreement with Behbehani Motors Company will further strengthen the presence of Volkswagen, Europe’s largest carmaker, in the booming Kuwaiti market.
Behbehani Motors Company, eager to start servicing existing and potential Volkswagen customers, has an already existing state-of-the-art 100% Volkswagen CI compliant showroom located in Al Rai.
Hans-Dieter Keller, Managing Director of Volkswagen Middle East, said: “The Volkswagen Group is following a new strategic direction in Kuwait, by which Behbehani Motors Company have been appointed as the sole official distributor of the Volkswagen brand.” He continued: “The Kuwaiti market is a vital one for us in the region and we are convinced that we have found a strong partner in one of the country’s most reputable companies, Behbehani Motors Company.”
