As part of the Business Benefit Campaign, Batelco, Bahrain’s leading Internet services provider, announced up to 50% reductions on its Business and Educational inet Broadband packages.
With effect from 1st August 07, Business customers can pay up to 50% less in the rental charges of five value-for-money high speed inet Broadband packages; - Business 512kbps volume package with 10GB threshold at BD75 per month, Business 1Mbps with unlimited usage at BD125 per month, Business 2Mbps with unlimited usage at BD175 per month, Education 1Mbps with unlimited usage at BD100 per month, and Education 2Mbps with unlimited usage at BD150 per month.
What’s more, Batelco is going to automatically upgrade its current Business and Education subscribers to the five newly reduced inet Broadband packages on 31st August where they will not only enjoy reduced rental charges, but also higher speeds and enriched benefits. Letters will be sent to all existing Business and Education inet Broadband customers to explain the upgrade procedure and details.
“Batelco has previously promised its Business customers to offer new and upgraded deals on Broadband services with drastic reductions, now we are delivering on our promises,” said Batelco Corporate Affairs General Manager Ahmed Al Janahi.

The 50% discounted rates will make Batelco’s broadband tariffs for Businesses among the most competitive in the GCC.
