Governor of the Bahrain Monetary Agency and Chairman of the Bahrain Stock Exchange Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received yesterday the heads of delegations from other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) stock exchanges, who are in Bahrain to attend a two-day meeting held by the Bahrain Stock Exchange in Manama.
The Governor discussed various issues of mutual interest with the bourse officials, in particular ways of strengthening cooperation especially with regards to regulations and technical systems, in a manner designed to increase the ability of these stock exchanges to attract greater local and foreign investment. — (menareport.com)
