Newly-wed Bahraini couples who wish to purchase land will be provided with reasonably-priced government plots, Bahrain's Works and Housing Minister Fahmi Al Jowder has said, according to the GDN. Despite this, MPs voted in favor of a proposal to give the new couples loans to buy lands they need.
Under the ministry plan, land is being sold in the same areas applicants come from at reasonable prices instead of giving them money to buy land.
