Over 1,000 houses are to be built in the second half of 2006 and will be finished by 2008 at a cost of BD35 million, Bahrain's Works and Housing Minister and Housing Bank Board chairman Fahmi Al Jowder was quoted as saying by the GDN.
The houses, which will absorb 5,580 dwellers, are to be constructed on a 277,200 sq. m. land in Muharraq.
