Thousands of residents in Abu Quwah village and neighbouring areas may benefit from a housing project proposed by the Northern Municipal Council, the GDN reported on Tuesday.
A letter is to be forwarded by council member Sayed Hashim Kadhim to the Royal Court, calling to consider a housing project that will meet demand from the area's growing population.
According to the report, he is proposing the housing project should be set up on government owned land in the area.
