The Bahraini Minister of Works and Housing, Fahmi bin Ali Al Jowder, on Wednesady stressed progress in providing the "best housing facilities for citizens." Al Jowder conveyed in a statement that as part of the kingdom's development, the ministry signed in March a contract on the general national strategic structure for Bahrain with the American firm, Skidmore Owings & Merrill. This company will carry out a detailed research and prepare a strategic plan for the next 20 years under the supervision of the Economic Development Board.
According to Al Jowder, the research aimed at highlighting the population growth and expansion works on buildings and housing areas.
