More than 700 jobs were created after eight firms committed to investing over BD28 million (some US$74 million) at the Bahrain International Investment Park Saturday. According to the GDN, the first lease agreements signed with the Commerce and Industry Ministry include large ventures by both Bahraini and international companies.
Bahrain's Commerce and Industry Minister, Dr. Hassan Fakhro stated the agreements demonstrated how the public and private sectors could work in harmony to create employment opportunities in Bahrain.
