Some 60,000 houses will have to be established in Bahrain over the next 10 to 15 years to keep up with the kingdom's growing population, according to a building expert. He told the GDN the demand over the next decade will amount to 6,000 to 8,000 homes per annum.
However, Innovative Building Solutions partner Chris Jensen said the country is only building 1,000 to 2,000-a-year.
