A draft law on land registration has been submitted by government for approval at the parliament, the GDN reported.
Under the new law, which includes 89 articles, a one-per cent tax will be levied on sales of land plots worth BD70,000, a 2 per cent tax on plots worth BD70,001 to BD40,000 and a 3 per cent tax on plots above BD140,001.
